As mentioned in my previous post, I'll be removing HHHL from the other blog and release my new blog within the next few days. Well...

Today is the day!


From now on, ALL updates will be posted on that new blog. If you're interested, I do blog about other things in there but if not, all posts related to my writing will be posted under the "The Pen is NOT Mightier" category.

Eventually I'll have new promotional banners for my online series up (nicer ones that can see the light of day, I SWEAR!) which I hope you guys can put up on your website. For now, please feel free to remove the HHHL banner from your website and just post up a link to my new blog.

And I think that's all but if I have anything else to update, I'll post it on that new blog.

Now for some personal words regarding this blog...

Ah... Tale of Lance... You have served me well for over 3 years and 350 blog posts. I'm not going to delete this blog of course, everything will be archived for my private viewing. Many things have been blogged be it 'emo talk' or whatever, I'm sure most of which will remind me of lessons I've learnt in the past.

The new blog will be a new beginning for me, and with it I will continue to learn to become a better person =)

NEED TO GET A GIRLFRIEND LAH!!! *bangs face against the wall in hopes of it becoming better looking*

Haha, I guess that's it then. It feels a bit rushed but I think I've addressed whatever I wanted to about this blog. It's not as if I'm going to die after this post or anything, I'm just starting a new blog >.>

Alright, I think I know what my plan is now. Here are the top priority things I need to do for my Fantasy Project and my Online Series.

Fantasy Project:
- Names of people, location, objects
- Lore

Online Series:
- Re-write Her Hero and His Love

It might not look much but there is actually a lot to do for my Fantasy Project. There are A LOT of things which require names and those names don't come easy. The lore itself is just a matter of time. Once I get the inspiration, I'll breeze through that portion in a very short time. However, as much as there is to be done, I can take things pretty easy for my Fantasy Project.

Hence I think I shall start working on re-writing Her Hero and His Love. It might not necessarily take more than a month since I already got the plot out, and the entire outline of the story written. All I have to do is improve and add in key plot elements for it to join the series.

Chances are within the next few days, I'll take down HHHL and release the address of my wordpress blog. Over there I'll have a section dedicated to the progress of HHHL's re-write. The thing about wordpress is that it's quite organized with all the pages and categories, which is what I really like about it.

Awesome, so I'll update over here again once I'm ready to release the address!

I'm still working on the online series and I guess it's hard to stop once you've started. The plan now is to re-write HHHL so people can start reading the new re-written version, rather than the old, lousier version.

Oh, I've created a wordpress blog and now I'm just going to try it out for a couple of days. It's a lot more restricting than blogger though, in terms of the design and where I can put banners and stuff. However the infrastructure of wordpress is a lot more solid than blogger, in the sense that their dashboard and tools are a lot more useful and better in many ways.

Once I think it's ready I'll of course post the link here =)

I'm thinking of switching my priorities these days. If I were to work on the online series first, I would be able to get more feedback on my writing style. That feedback I get will make me a better writer, which would in turn make me write my fantasy project better.

Alright, now I'm beginning to doubt my sense of logic for not seeing this earlier.

Anyway it looks like the most logical thing to do right now, so I'll continue to develop the Online Series' plot right now. And if it continues to make more sense for me to put my priority on it first, I'll let you guys know.

Things will get so pushed forward if I decide to move my fantasy project off my priority list.

I'm making good progress with the planning of the Online Series' plot. I'll be experimenting with different writing styles in my Online Series, but don't worry about anything too wacky, haha. The series will be written much better than HHHL and of course much more entertaining, basically it'll be a lot better =)

Off-topic: QQ no Wrath of the Lich King beta key for me yet T_T

Well, I just completed draft 2 last night from a sudden surge of desire to write. And also party because that most of the final few chapters could be used from draft 1... Anyway, draft 2 is done and I think I deserve a break for a couple of days before I start working again.

Right now, my intentions after my break is to probably work on the new online series for a while. And just to make things clearer, here are the two classifications:

1. Fantasy novel - The one I'm devoting all my attention to right now. The one that I intend to get published through a traditional publishing house.

2. Online series - The one with HHHL. The one where I'll post up online for free.

Awesome.

As much as I love and am passionate about my Fantasy novel, it can get tiring when you're working on the same thing non-stop for so long. I mean, yeah, I can keep going on but I'll work better if I let it lay for a while. Let me mind refresh itself and get new ideas.

Now, how long will I spend working on the online series before I go back to my fantasy novel?

I'm guessing a month at most. My main objective is to just get out a sturdy plot for the entire online series. Plan out how many stories/books there'll be. And basically how many lead characters there'll be.

It won't be like hardcore, full gear focus on it though. I intend to spend more time reading which is just as important if I want to write well.

Just a quick post on a thought I'm having.

I feel like I should move my blog over to wordpress like asap. This way, I can get used to using wordpress so when the time comes along for me to switch, I can make a much smoother transition.

It does make sense right?
